Dates:  March 17 - 24  and July 14 - 21     

                 (return date is flexible if you want to stay longer in Cancun)
                   
           Registration Deadline: March 1st and July 1st

Location: Valladolid, Mexico (90 min drive from Cancun)

Local Culture: Mayan Indian primarily (Many don't speak Spanish)

Air Travel: Non-stop flight to Cancun (approx. 4 hours)

Cost:  TBD Approx. $2000-3000 for July. $1700 for March 

Areas of Ministry & Need:

MEDICAL  (15-20 available positions for each date...2 teams available)

Surgical: Doctors!!! (especially Opthamology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Urology,Orthopedics, General Surgery & Anesthesiologists)

Primary Care Doctors: Internal, Family, Pediatrics & PA's

Nursing:  Especially surgical nurses, CRNA

Dental: Oral Surgeons, General, Pediatrics, Hygienists

This is a trip with a full hospital where several hundred surgeries will be done during this week and all patients will hear the Gospel!

CONSTRUCTION  (15-20 available positions)

Need: General construction workers and masonry

Project #1 – Construct an overhang at the entrance to the hospital so patients can be shaded from the sun.

Project #2 – Construct a "Filter House" for a water purification system in a local town

Project #3 – Construct a basketball court for the sports outreach 

SPORTS/OUTREACH  (5-10 available positions)

An ex-pro basketball player with the Mexican national team is planning to be part of our team.  We will use basketball as an outreach tool in the local towns and villages.  We will need general helpers to gather people, illustrate basketball principles, share the gospel, etc…  This is  great place for some students to be involved!

MUSIC/BAND

Part of what I will be heading up is a band that will do a couple open-air concerts later in the week.  This will be a rally point for people from the community to gather, where we will share the Gospel message with them.

         COUNSELING
          Always a blessing to have counselors.
