What a Night!

If you were there, THANK YOU! If you were not, you missed an incredible night of worship and surprises! We had over 260 people at The Chapel and it was a beautiful  night. God's presence was felt in many ways. Troy and the girls were unbelievable! Yes! I said the girls...Brooklyn and Peyton sang with Troy and it was a joy to witness that.

The love offering that was collected was more than we expected, but God has already given us more than we expected every time. He is so good!

We are grateful for a great night and we can't wait to see how God will continue to lead our team.

Team Fundraising...Car Wash

We had a very successful event last Saturday! Most team members showed up and we all had a great time! Our team worked hard and we had some great donations and we were able to raise over $7,000 !!!

A big thanks to John Epley for donating a lot of the supplies needed for the car wash.

Our teens did an incredible job holding signs on Shea which was very helpful, I have never seen anyone wave their car wash signs with such enthusiasm.

What a team!! We are so grateful to our Lord for being so merciful and allowing us to have  such a successful event. Getting to know each other better was one of our goals and we feel we accomplished just that!! Our hope is that we can go to Valladolid and serve as one.

An Update for our Team!

 As we get ready to begin our fundraising efforts for our trip, work is already underway to begin laying the foundation for the bathroom we will be building! They are hard at work and making sure everything is ready to go for us when we get to Valladolid!

Second Meeting

We had a great meeting! We were able to assemble the different teams that will be participating and we are very excited about what God is and will be doing through our team in Mexico.

A Big Thank You! to Amy Carney for sharing with us about her experience in Mexico last March, she and her boys served and were a great blessing to many.

We also heard from Dr. Rodriguez, one of the founders of the hospital where we will serve.

Brief Summary of our Meeting:

3 Fundraising Events

1) Saturday April 28th. Car Wash at SBC. Greg Libby is leading this activity. Will post more details coming up soon! Please plan to be there at 8:00 am so we can be ready and tell all your friends and family to come see us there!

2) Friday May 4th. Our very own Troy Peterson will give a free concert at the Chapel. We will take a love offering to put towards special projects. We will provide coffee and snacks, if you would like to help with that please contact Lidieth Libby (lidiethlibby@me.com) she will be leading that activity with Troy.

3) Saturday May 5th. Yard Sale at the Krell's home. 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. People show up starting at 6:30 am, so we need to set up early. Audra will provide the cash box. We need tables and clothing racks if you have any, please bring them with you. We will use colored stickers so price all your items ahead of time.
(Red $.50, Blue $1.00, Green $2.00, Yellow $5.00. If you have larger items, price them with a special tag listing your price.

***We need volunteers to head up selling snacks during the car wash and the garage sale***

First Meeting for July Team Members

Just a reminder that we will be meeting this Sunday, March 11th at 4PM in room E105 the July 14-21 team.

The best way to get there is to park on the north side of the church (if spaces are available) and enter the room (1st floor) across from the Town Center.

Please make every effort to attend whether you are already confirmed for the trip or just interested at this point. There are many details to begin pulling together. If you are unable to make it to the meeting, please let me know your intentions for participation with the team.

March Mission Trip

We are very excited about the upcoming trip (March 17-24), we have a small group but we feel we will have a wonderful time of fellowship working together serving the people of Yucatan but most importantly serving God.

We will be reaching out to children and sharing the gospel with them, we are collecting flip-flops to bring with us as well as craft supplies (crayons, scissors, paper, markers, glue)

At this time, we have 2 oral surgeons, 2 dentists, 2 hygienist as well as one general surgeon, a wonderful family is organizing the activities for the children and Troy and Wendy Peterson will be leading worship and helping with everything and anything as they always do, we love them!!

There is still time to sign up, no particular skills are necessary, just a willingness to serve and a heart for people.

God is good!
